A video has been recently posted by Samsung( see below) appears to show off the waterproof capabilities of its next flagship phone.
The clip shows a glimpse of what could be a Galaxy S7 Edge being used in the rain.
Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge on February 21 at this year's Mobile World Congress.
Other hints from the video include a flat back with no protruding camera.
EXPECTED SPECS
No details have been confirmed but the phones may feature:
- 5.1-inch and 5.5-inch display versions
- 4GB of inbuilt RAM
- 32GB/64GB of storage
- 12MP camera (down from 16MP)
- the return of the microSD card slot
- a possible virtual reality feature (VR features in the promo)
- a pressure-sensitive display (similar to the iPhone's 3D touch)
- a new high-speed charging port
