An exciting aspect about the Nexus 6P after its release was its camera. It was great, but because of software limitations it didn’t live up to its fullest ability. All that’s been lacking all this while has finally been fulfilled by Google after making the Camera 3.1 update available.
Accessible in the Play Store, the update is free and brings enhancements that plenty of folks are willing to pay for to the 12.3MP shooter.
On top of additional photography options, the UI layout in the device has been greatly improved with ergonomics that make it much more convenient to utilize.
Camera 3.1 boosts the phone’s shooting performance by allowing camera to rapidly focus and capture images. Users are now able to swipe left and right to change camera modes and can easily switch between the rear and front cameras as the button is more conveniently located.
The good news is that Nexus users aren’t the only ones benefitting from this. Other devices running on Marshmallow can also enjoy this new UI and all that needs to be done is approving the update.
