Last month, Microsoft announced that mobile users would be able to make group video calls. That feature is now being rolled out on Android and iOS. The roll out is expected to be complete within a week for users in Europe and the US.
Up to 25 people can get involved in a group video call with the person speaking displayed in the centre. The number of people involved in a group video chat was previously capped at five.
Microsoft is also extending its Skype chat invitation feature to iOS and Android. This enables anyone to invite people to a group conversation and lets them join in a video call using Skype for Web.
Group video calls are rolling out on iPhone, iPad, and Android now.
