Sony is expanding the Xperia Beta Program to include three more countries - Italy, Spain, and Netherlands - and open the program to support Xperia Z2 devices.
The program was launched in October, though originally you had to own the Xperia Z3 or Xperia Z3 Compact and be from one of the 11 chosen European countries, which included Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, United Kingdom, and Germany.
Unfortunately, if you missed the opportunity to sign up for the beta program originally, you won't be able to gain access now. Sony says that this new release is to ensure that the UI team can iron out “any” bugs before the Android 6 update is launched to the public.
So, you won't be able to get involved in the beta unless you're from one of the three newly invited countries, but it sounds like you won't have long to wait for a full release of Android 6.0 Marshmallow on your Xperia device.
