We know that Samsung will announce the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge at Mobile World Congress, but it seems like the South Korean company might have another announcement up its sleeves. Perhaps Samsung was trying to keep everyone distracted so it wouldn't leak out that it has a new tablet to announce.
Benchmark results have leaked out that indicate that the Galaxy Tab S3 will soon be ready for release. A tablet, bearing the name SM-T819, has been spotted on GFXBench. That doesn't necessarily mean that it is the Tab S3, but for reference the Galaxy Tab S2 bore the codename of SM-T810.
There's also a listing or the SM-T719, which is likely to be a smaller 8-inch variant of the tablet. Again, a smaller version of the Galaxy Tab S2 was listed as the SM-710.
The larger Galaxy Tab S3's specs point to a 9.7-inch 2048x1536 display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor, and 3GB RAM. It's also rumoured to feature an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front-facing camera. Many of these specs match what the Galaxy Tab S2 had, so it will be interesting to see where Samsung makes improvements.
Samsung doesn't typically announce handsets and tablets at the same event, so we may have to wait a little while longer to hear more about the Galaxy Tab S3.
