ZUK Mobile has officially announced ZUI 1.5 which is based on Android 6.0 stated to be test on 31, December. Except for the characteristics that the Android 6.0 equipped, it will also support U-Touch upgrading by adding a pseudo base station identification function, and optimizing the power consumption and rights management, etc.

U-Touch is one of the highlights of ZUI functions. Through the combination of software and hardware technology, it can  achieve a set of gesture operation on the Home key. In ZUI 1.5 version, U-Touch ushered upgrade, adding unlock extinguished screen and long touch return to the desktop functions.
ZUK Z1In addition, because the native Android 6.0 OS supports fingerprint recognition, ZUI 1.5 version will fully optimize the U-Touch and fingerprint ID. However, because the Android 6.0 version will change the fingerprinting mechanism, the upgrade will clear the fingerprint information, you need to re-entry fingerprint after system update.

SMS Upgrade, Smart Identification Pseudo Base Stations
As we all know, the pseudo base station is an important spread channel of fraud spam messages and text messages. However, because of the huge amount of GSM network users, it could not be resolved. In order to protect the ZUK customer's  safety, in this ZUI 1.5 version, it will add the pseudo base station identification technology, which can be identified by the underlying chip level Modem, and send back the recognition results to the SMS App for special identification.
