SGS6 specs: What is encased in the metal body?
The most beautiful thing about the Samsung Galaxy S6 after its design and build is the raw power trapped within the metal casing. The S6 will probably come with a processor with 16 cores, with more cores dedicated to graphics. Since we know the Exynos and Snapdragon processors to be fitted in the S6 are capable of supporting up to 4K screen resolution, we are justified to say that the S6 will be a powerful machine capable of running high definition games without the slightest glitch.
Samsung just announced the Galaxy Note 4 phablet and there is a variant with a flexible screen called Galaxy 4 Edge, you should check it out. We already know Samsung’s next flagship device will have a flexible screen, what we are not sure is whether it will bend around the device as that in the Galaxy Note 4 Edge.
Ever since concept images of the Samsung Galaxy S6 started circulating on the internet, and right after Samsung hinted at releasing all-metal devices in 2015, it was apparent that the next flagship device will be stronger and more damage, dust and water resistant than anything else Samsung has made. The generation of children being born now will one day wonder how manufacturers ever made phones that die when they drop, drop in water, suffocate in dust or such damages. More and more of Samsung’s devices have been rugged enough to withstand common torture tests.
To complement its powerful processor, the Galaxy S6 will come with 4GB of RAM which is a lot for a device running on a 64-bit architecture. Apple’s iPhone 6 plus has just 1 GB. When it comes to internal storage memory, Apple beat Samsung to make 64GB available to the consumer although Samsung had already announced that its next smartphones will come with up to 128 GB of onboard memory.
Although we will not be getting 5G on the Samsung Galaxy S6, we will get a better 20 megapixels ISOCELL primary camera, a 5 megapixels front camera, a better 4,000 mAh battery, possibly a retina scanner and if we are lucky, another camera on the front. Samsung is likely to release just one variant of its flagship smartphone this time round, but that’s besides the mini.
Samsung will announce the Galaxy S6 on 2nd or 3rd March 2015 in Barcelona during the Mobile World Congress but tit will be available later in April or May. We should look forward to a waterproof device you can use at the office and take scuba diving as well.
